Kicherer Mercedes SLS AMG Supersport GT

Kicherer has already unveiled a couple projects with the Mercedes SLS AMG supercar, but have now released their SLS 63 Supersport GT with some exceptional styling. This one looks to top all the previous jobs, and the tuning company called this take the “angry and aggressive” car. However, the car girl in the pictures seems to enjoy the Mercedes without hesitation. Becoming more popular these days are the matte black car wraps, seen here on the SLS 63 Supersport GT. A hand-made shark mouth style grill was installed, which actually looks like a common iron fence to surround your house for privacy. Completing the exterior styling is the aero kit consisting of a carbon fiber spoiler lip and carbon fin set.

Now I know some of you will only look at the model in the pictures, and by that I mean the girl. That’s fine, but if you really want to get moving, jump in the driver seat of this SLS AMG producing 621 bhp and 700 Nm of torque. It will definitely set you back a couple bucks with the gas prices today, but 0 to 62 mph in just 3.5 seconds is worth every penny. The top speed of the Mercedes SLS 63 Supersport GT has been limited to 199 miles per hour, and the sports car features a height adjustable suspension kit to drop it 30 mm. This improves the handling at high speeds, while the wheels you see here are Kicherer’s very own, three-piece RS-1 rims measuring 20×10 up front, and 21×11.5 at the rear. Final mods to this Mercedes are the carbon fiber trim options installed on the interior.

Creating a Prototype of Futuristic Supercar

When a car is designed, the team of people whose job is to create a prototype of the designed car has to be very fast and very precise in creating that car. Also, the car must not be expensive because it is only prototype and it is not clear will that be the final version or not. Here you can watch a series of photos which are showing us almost complete process of creating prototype of the conceptual design of the car.

This is a model of the futuristic vehicle which is eventually going to be produced if it passes the test. It is made from special fiber-glass-based materials and it looks even better than when it is made from regular materials. A team of engineers are working carefully to make exactly it as it is designed. Despite the fact that such models are made for testing purposes only, they are far away from cheap, actually they almost cost like real cars and sometimes they're kept in museums.

Novitec Rosso Ferrari California Race 606

There have been several tuning kits released for the Ferrari California, but this particular one from Novitec Rosso seems to top them all. Called the Race 606, the modifications include a front lip spoiler, vented hood, aggressive rear diffuser, and a bunch of carbon fiber accents. More expensive customizations include a lowered sport suspension to drop the Ferrari 35 mm, a hydraulic front lift system, and NF3 three-piece wheels wrapped in Pirelli PZero tires. Performance tuning came next with the 4.3-liter V8 boosted with the additions of a supercharger, intercooler, new intake manifold, larger fuel injectors, remapped ECU, and a high performance exhaust system. The dyno numbers are after the jump.

With this tuning job performed by Novitec Rosso on the Ferrari California, the car now produces 606 PS and 603 Nm of torque. An increase of 146 PS and 118 Nm of torque from the factory model, and allows the sports car to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in just 3.8 seconds, while running a top speed of 325 km/h. Pricing hasn’t been released yet by Novitec, but the Ferrari California Race 606 plans to be revealed at the upcoming Geneva Motor Show.

Mansory Ferrari 458 Italia Siracusa

Another great tuning work has been released by the guys at Manosory called the Siracusa and based on the Ferrari 458 Italia. The modified sports car features a new front apron with inlets, new bonnet, side skirts, and integrated ducts all made from carbon fiber. This shaves off 70 kg, while the rear window was swapped out with carbon fiber blades. The Ferrari 458 Siracusa is powered by the 4.5-liter V8, and named after a town in Sicily known for its historic race track. Power upgrades to the powerplant increased the figures to 590 PS and 560 Nm of torque, and consist of an ECU tuning remap, new air filter, and sport exhaust system.

At the track, the Mansory Siracusa is able to sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.2 seconds, and reach a top speed of 330 km/h. The tuners dropped the car 20 mm with four new shock absorbers and lowering springs. For the stance, the Ferrari 458 Italia now sits on forged rims measuring 20×9 in the front, and 21×11 at the rear. The come wrapped in high performance Michelin tires on all fours. Inside the Ferrari is typical Italian luxury, boasting leather, ultra-suede, and carbon fiber accents throughout. The tuning company even customized the center console, added aluminum pedals, and a new sport steering wheel.

Geneva 2011: 2012 GTA Spano makes world debut with 820 horsepower

GTA Motor has just rolled out its brand-new supercar, the V10-powered, 820-horsepower Spano here at the Geneva Motor Show. The car has a carbon fiber-kevlar composite and aluminum chassis, and will be limited to a run of 99 examples worldwide.

With all that power and very little weight, the Spano makes it to 60 mph in under three seconds, and GTA says it will top out at 217 mph. The car carries massive 380 mm (nearly 15-inch) six-piston caliper AP Racing disc brakes with ABS, and the brakes sap off speed with the help of a ridiculous wide set of Pirelli PZero Rosso 330s (19- and 20-inches wide, respectively).

The car is designed with performance in mind, but it’s not a totally stripped-out track-day car, keeping things civilized with a panoramic roof and a carbon fiber luggage compartment complete with fitted bags.
